How to Purchase Gateway Authorization on the Autel Device
Step 1: Tap on Diagnostic / Service on your Autel tablet.
Step 2: Select the vehicle:
- Use Auto Scan to read the vehicle automatically.
- Or manually select the vehicle.
- For Mercedes-Benz, select Vehicle System → Benz.
Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to log in with your AutoAuth ID and password.
If you have not purchased the service yet:
- The software will prompt you to visit the AutoAuth official website to purchase the gateway unlock service.
- After purchasing, you need to bind the Autel tablet to your account:
- Log in to the AutoAuth website with your AutoAuth ID and password.
- Go to Manage Tools → Add Tool to add your device.
- Select Manufacturer: Autel US Inc.
- Select Tool Model: your Autel product.
- Enter the Serial Number of your device.
- Click Add to complete the process.
- Return to the diagnostic software on your Autel tablet, enter your AutoAuth credentials, and log in to complete the secure gateway unlock.
