The Autel MS309 auto code reader is most useful while diagnosing continuous monitor faults like engine misfire and fuel control concerns.
When an emissions related fault occurs, the OBD II system not only sets a code but also records a snapshot of the vehicle operating parameters to help in identifying the problem. This set of values is referred to as Freeze Frame Data and may include important engine parameters such as engine RPM, vehicle speed, mass airflow, engine load, fuel pressure, fuel trim value, engine coolant temperature, ignition timing advance, or closed loop status.
MS309 engine scanner code reader comes with I/M readiness status check function that shows you whether all the emission related systems and components are operating within allowable limits to help you pass the annual Smog Check.
The engine scanner shows readiness status with series of readiness monitors: continuous monitors like misfire, fuel system and comprehensive components monitor and non-continuous monitors like EGR system, O2 sensors, Catalyst, Evaporative System, O2 Sensor Heater, Secondary air, Heated Catalyst and A/C system.
Autel MS309 supprots DTC definitions. The definitons will be displayed bellow the codes. It provides you an easier way to read and a quick understanding of what's the meaning of the fault codes that was detected. No need to search online for what's the codes meaning.

Love having this in my glovebox..
Worked on my 2009 Toyota RAV4 Limited. I got error p0137 which means Low Voltage on Bank 1 Sensor 2 (Downstream) on my Oxygen Sensor. So I replaced it and cleared the code and now it's working fine! This device saved me $300 that I would've lost to the dealer.
Easy to use and had a easy interface.
Tried in my husbands 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser. He didn’t have a check engine light yet, just testing it out. Bought this for the future when an issue arises. But the screen was bright and clear, easy to read. All that had to be done was plugging it in, very simple to use. There we’re options to read the code, and to delete the code. Extremely user friendly for those that might have never used one of these readers before. This is an Extremely good product.
Fast 3-day shipping. Got to the house quick to diagnose my car. Easily read the codes and gave brief description on some of the common codes. Alll in all great to have.
